Topaz sharpen ai keeps crashing7/5/2023 Given my computer was quite old I also purchased a new Dell Inspiron 15- i7 with 16gb Memory and a Intel iRIS Xe graphics for my Photo processing. I bought Luminar 4 to use for sky replacement on drone 360's.I recently purchased Topaz Sharpen Ai and On1 Photo Raw 2022. It works OK for that but I still need to go into Photoshop for additional editing to remove the stitch line. I have Luminar AI installed on my 13' M1 2020 MBP but have not really used it all that much except for a quick-and-dirty one time just to test it out. My favorite solution for that is to send them out to Beepec where they pop in a sky and enhance the photo for just a buck or two. That was a long time ago and I'm pretty sure that at that point it was still using Rosetta. So, yeah, I don't know if Skylum has actually updated Luminar to work with M1 chip machines or not. Last week, I gave an agent the choice of using a set of 2D drone photos either as is with the original sky (blue with a few clouds) or with Luminar 4 replacement skies. He sent me a copy of the listing in which every aerial photo he had selected for the MLS had the dramatic skies. Therefore, are there any Fuji X shooters that use Luminar AI and how. Since he had also wanted a "twilight" shot so, instead of going back at sunset, I just used Luminar 4 on one of the photos - with the sliders it provides, it does a great job of adjusting the scene lighting for the golden hour. The way I look at it these are the options: 1 edit Fuji RAF in Luminar AI. 3 edit X-Transformer DNG in Lightroom and use Luminar as a plug-in. I am experimenting a little bit and these are my findings: - Luminar AI demosaicing is pretty. Needless to say, he was a happy client and I will continue to add the dramatic skies into the drone photos and continue experimenting with them on the 360s. My main complaint about Skylum is that they only license Luminar packages per computer - so if you have two computers, you need to buy two licenses.I’ve been trying for over a week with a trial of Optics but it just keeps crashing on my machine with a exception code 0xc0000005 in the event log. I’ve raised a ticket but unfortunately I’m no futher forward. My machine is a i7-5820K, overclocked by 20% (no issues, CPU temp <65 under load), 32GB Ram, GTX970 card, up to date drivers and windows 10. I’ve no issue with any other program (Lightroom, photoshop elements, Luminar AI, Topaz Sharpen, Denoise, Vegas…) #Luminar ai forum drivers I’ve tried GPU Enabled/Disabled, 1K preview, various scaling/downsampling settings. The actual power of Luminar AI is hidden under the hood. And the Luminar AI Sky Replacement is nothing short of amazing. Reducing card output from 4k to HD, removing the anti-virus software, uninstalling optics and reinstalling, downloading the installation kit again and re-installing (lost the trial but it still fails in demo mode), carried out memory checks and load checks on my system and it passes, carried out DISM/SFC on Windows 10 (no issues). Luminar AI is packed with incredible next-gen technologies, giving you more capabilities than any traditional editor. With a couple of clicks, you can take a boring sky and turn it into something eye-catching (an. Initially it seemed like random crashing with Sapphire effects but in fact I think it is mainly S_Zap. If I open a 16M JPG file and go straight to S_Zap, 4 times out of 5 it crashes. If I go to S_ZapFrom (or SZapTo) and then to S_Zap, it works 5 times out of 5. I’ve also noticed that when I uninstalled and reinstalled, it kept the ‘old’ preferences so I’m guessing the uninstall does not actually remove everything. I bought Luminar 3 when it was released and it has been pushed into the market with a huge and impressive roadmap for the upcoming months. If I had other issues I may have tried a fresh windows installation but that’s a lot of work for only having an issue with one piece of software. Unfortunately they weren‘t able to fix the performance issues a lot of people faced and secondly, they just got rid of the initial roadmap.
